The Chef

lately, ok rather more like the BOGO deals are the reason i had purchased various cans of Chef Boyardee products. They are quite tasty. Granted they have a lot of sodium, but overall they aren't too bad nutritionally. I mean they are doused in tomato sauce. Although I tend to go for the meat varieties such as beef ravioli, meatballs and rings. I don't do the canned spaghetti, i like my spaghetti al dente instead of squishy LOL. and it's a quick lunch, hell you can even eat the stuff right out of the can. which i may be doing the next few days since i will be up at the library for most of my days finishing my paper.

but who is he? was he real? was he created and then a real person used for him like aunt jemima?

o well just curious.

on another note, i have things posted on half.com that i am selling. all books. so recently i sold two items. pretty cool. one is an F. Scott Fitgerald book I read once. The other a photography book I barely read for class. I notice that happens a lot for class. I don't think ONCE have I ever read a textbook completely for a class. No matter. I usually hang on to my photo-related items but I'm in need of the green before I sit and hang on to a book I may not read EVER again. It didn;t go for much, $8.00 versus it's original price of $29.95 of which I didn't pay full price. I can't remember what I paid. I really should keep track. I used to pay full price because I like my textbooks BRAND SPANKIN new. Just the smell of the clean newly inked pages *yum*. But since I became a full time student money has become more of a concern so needless to say I buy books used, either from half, ebay, icampus etc. So anyhow, I get the little email saying You've Made a Sale.

Cool.

Until I see that I've made a half dozen sales. Wow really? So I look at the next one, and it's the same book. Um ok. Same for the next one. Um ok. Now I'm getting a little peeved. I go to Half.com's web page to try to contact them. Ya know at least eBay has a place where you can send a question or email. NO not half. ok maybe i have to use ebay's contact page. Which I may, depends on what happens. So anyway, today I look at my email. And what do I see? TWENTY TWO emails stating that I've sold the SAME DAMN BOOK!

ok it's not april fool's. what in the wireless world is going on??

Found this on someone's blog, figured I'd see how I rated. Yep pretty much a loyal and try to be an honest person.......it's a curse some days.

You scored as Elinor Dashwood. As Marianne's older sister, Elinor lives at the other end of the emotional spectrum. She rarely reveals her intense feelings and is more concerned with being honest and loyal than having what she deserves. Even though her intentions are pure, she sets herself up for loss by constantly placing other people before her own needs. Overall, Elinor is gentle and rational but is just as capable of radical emotions (despite her withholding them) as her sister.

if you ever watch the history channel, they have occasionally have shows about the history of american food. this fella was a real person, forgot his real name, but it slowly evolved into the one we all know and love since the real one was misprounounced.

it's always tough trying to explain al dante to someone who knows little about cooking.
