Allez Cuisine!
is that what he says? I can't tell. oh. Iron Chef America. It's my new addiction. hehe
actually my brother watches the original, as well as the American version. I on occasion watched it when i was home but usually not. My brother and I have similar tastes in some things, and in tv, we usually have our own types of shows we watch. some of them overlap, and others, well let's just say we wouldn't be caught dead watching each other's shows.
he's got probably tons of iron chef episodes on dvd. but it's been only recently (like the past couple of weeks) that i found i really love watching the American version. o i do like the original Iron Chef, but the American version comes on during times i am home.
and it is so cool to see what the "secret ingredient" is, and what they do with it. of course right now i'm watching the rachel ray vs. that italian chic. CRANBERRIES is the secret ingredient. i mean how much STUFF can you make with cranberries? well i'm about to find out. so cool.
i like both ladies. but i think maybe rachel will pull this one out.
the other day venison was the secret ingredient. damn these people make it look so easy. i LOVE the plating. who said cooking wasn't an art??
i don't know but i'm likin watching the food network, gives me new ideas for eating!
only a week and a half left of this quarter and i haven't finished my web page (still need to scan some negatives sheesh) and have 8 prints to do for large format. crunch time begins!

We watch Food Network faithfully in our house. Iron Chef is one of my favorites. I just wish they cooked with different stuff more than fish all the time.
Sometimes the presentation I think is just as pretty.
