I meditate. I burn candles. I drink green tea...............and still I want to smack someone.

Today's Outing

Well, I was trying to find some Italian Renaissance style architecture around this town and there really isn't any.

So I have to figure out Plan B ASAP since this damned project is due on the 6th. But it is better than writing a research paper......

So we toodled around today and found some interesting stuff. Some people apparently changing inside a VW van with the windows open. Can you say EXHIBITIONIST??? Nice for a 10 year old to see. I felt like calling the cops but I resisted the urge. My sister said I should have stuck my camera in the window like a paparrazzi. I really should have now that I'm thinking on it.

While walking around Savannah, we found this guy staring out at us. My sister and Mo call him Chumley, too funny. He looks so pathetic but all those dogs do don't they? But I snapped this photo because it was just too funny. We walked up the street and back and he resorted to laying down so we couldn't see him. Glad he chose that moment to look outside.

We ate at the tea room which is across the street from my college's admission department. Parked right out front was the prototype car that a few of the SCAD students worked on for a motor company (I think). I asked the guard if we could sit in it but that wasn't really an option. So Mo wanted her photo next to it. Looks kinda cool.

Then we had to go over my sister's friend's house to take care of their dogs. Mo had brought a tennis ball because she took it out of the back of my truck. When Toby (this dog here) saw the ball he started howling like there was no tomorrow. NEedless to say she had to keep tossing him the ball. He would bring it back and drop it and then start howling at the top of his little lungs, like he was telling her to throw it. Boy he's bossy! Once in a while he would bring the ball to me and instead of dropping it he put it in my hand. Weird he only did that to me. Maybe he could tell Mo was a little nervous around him. His bark is so much worse that his bite. (Well he didn't bite but my sister was afraid he would since he's the dominant one and is aggressive to the other dog). Yea let him bite me buddy. He was too funny. Howling at her to throw the ball. He could have gone on forever if we didn't make him stop. I let him keep the ball seeing as I do have many of them in the back of my truck haha.

I'm thinking I would like to see G'man have a hound dog, blue tick or a similar sort. I love the way they sound when they howl. There were two hound puppies that had been dumped by his house one time. I would take pictures of all the dogs and cats that ended up at his place, if they stayed long enough. The two were so cute and seemed to be from a pretty good line. Had to be part bloodhounds, they had such floppy ears and they had such long faces. They didn't end up staying long, G-man seems to think someone snagged them up. I hope so. I like to think that someone kept them and that they didn't get killed. Maybe I'll look into a hound rescue, but usually those guys are older dogs. I think a puppy would be good. But I'm not paying for one since he's keeping it outside. Hate to spend money for it to end up missing or stolen or killed.

So tomorrow I'm off to try to make my platinum prints. I think I have some good negatives to make them for my final project. I hope so......

I'm feeling quite tired now. I'm so hoping I'm not coming down with something. I will be highly irritated. I think after the test my body decided it didn't need to be so tense.
