I meditate. I burn candles. I drink green tea...............and still I want to smack someone.

Must buy creamer

Because I threw out the milk. And now I have none for my coffee. Creamer will work in a pinch. Until then.......it's black.

I had a dream. It was weird. I ate hot dogs too late last night. So I dreamt somehow (I can't remember now from the time I got up, I hate that, that's why I"m writing now before work so I can get the stuff in before I forgot it all).......somehow my truck got stolen. I was in Podunk Georgia I'm assuming becuase my road trips usually take me through on the way to and fro Atlanta. Either my truck broke down (it's a Toyota, come ON it is a TOUGH little GUY!) or I stopped to help someone or something. That's all fuzzy. Anyway, my truck ends up being taken, perhaps by gunpoint, still fuzzy, by some one. So I call it in (luckily I still have my phone AND I have BARS!) I get a place to stay at the Podunk Inn (o let me tell you it was a lovely rathole). The police call to tell me they found my truck (it's white with a black fender, so easy to find). It was fine, someone traded it to a car dealer for [drug] money. THen they start asking me questions about stuff in the truck......do you have a camera, etc. I begin to freak. I don't know why I don't freak about the truck being taken, but I do about stuff in it. Because it's CHOCK full of SHITE. Which I really need to clean out. So much stuff in it that I can't remember what WAS in it and what might have been stolen. I look for the cameras, but only find lenses (totally freakin now). Then I dig a little more, since the cameras were kind of UNDER stuff. And I found them. All with lens caps on. But the lenses were separated from the cameras and all were there. Weird. THen I go to check for the gun......but I wake up.

I have to go check on my truck now.......

I like that big ole rock ya put up here.

I hate having dreams like that. Worse, I hate running out of milk for my coffee.

Hope your truck was safe and sound.

"Lens caps on" -- you totally buried the lead.

I remember meeting a pro photographer at a rock show in Reading. He and I had some of the same stuff, including a Nikon 20mm. The rear element kind of sticks out of the end, and it's important to be careful with it, since it is exposed [pun].

Anyway, he shows me his, and it's scratched and beaten. While he's telling me this, he starts on the crappy construction, bad design ... blah blah...
What he didn't do was say that you need to keep the rear cap on when not using it. Duh.
