And another thing.....
O yea, I was meaning to comment on this before, but hadn't. I am just amazed. I really didn't think I should be, especially when it comes to human behaviour, but alas I am, and humans always never cease to amaze me. But what kills me in my classes, is how different they are. Ok that's cools right? Well in my one art history class (and as you may or may not know, art history classes are extremely boring, a lot of lecture yadda yadda) it is pretty dead. One probably because it's at 9am, two probably becuase we are taking it during the summer. But this one guy never fails to never shut up. He is always interrupting. Now I don't mind someone interrupting a lecture, to ask questions, etc. But he interrupts by saying stupid shit like "I just think all this is crap." or "my daughter can paint that". Or he interrupts with something that is TOTALLY UNRELATED to the class.
Me screaming out in my head: "DUDE we KNOW you are a FILM MAJOR, but WTF does FILM have to do with PICASSO'S BLUE PERIOD?!!! SHUT THE FUCK UP!!!!"
And in my Ethnographic Art class, there is a couple (I am making an assumption but I think it's a valid one) in the class. Actually there is one in my 20th Century ARt too but I will refrain on commenting on Ken and Barbie. This second class, this couple persists in having private discussions in the back. And when they aren't in a private conversation, they are touching each other, whether it's a hand on the hair, a touch on the foot. It's irritating. And it was funny because teach just interjects in the middle of lecture with "Keep your hands to yourself please" yet these two are so not even paying attention to the lecture that they don't even hear that it is directed towards them.
And it amazes me yet again at how many people stroll into class either exactly on the dot or late without notebooks. I suppose they have excellent memories. I sure as shit know I don't. I'm one of those fiends that tries to write every last thing down (not good haha). So I am always curious to know how these people do on their tests. Also, it is usually these people who are in class, there, but apparently not present. WHy? Because after the teacher has specifically told us THREE times what is due and when, even though it is on the syllabus as well, they STILL are daring enough to ask WHAT is due WHEN. Or my favorite "I didn't know it was due today" when it was discussed JUST TWO DAYS AGO!!!!!
I'm sure other things will sprout up......

we had a young kid like that at the fire school. Constantly interupting class with his "what if" questions. Some were relevant others, I don't know what he was thinking, the possibilties are endless and there's no way to prepair for them all.
A couple of classes we could have finished up earlier then we did and gone home, but no motor mouth had to pipe in on every point the instructors would make with a question.
Another reason I'm glad I'm going this route to finish up my degree, I don't think I could stand to be in class with youngin's, hell right after I came back from a tour in Kuwait and was touring some campuses thinking about going back to school, I wanted to ask the freshman if their parents knew where they were at and i was only a few years older then 'em.
