Bad Beta

I WAS TRYING oops to change templates in a new blog and apparently they don't work in the beta? fuck. I want something different but no way am I going to do it or write it. Bad enough I have to work on my webpage now. I guess if I had training or something in writing out code would be a lot easier, but I don't have the patience. I just want to cut and paste. Yep I'm all for conserving energy...MINE.

Saw Tenacious D today. Thank goodness I didn't pay. It was kind of funny but not the laughing my ass off funny that I was anticipating from reviews by friends. Eh hem. Will not psyche myself up next time. I did like the appearance of some of the 'older' rock singers and actor cameos. Tim Robbins and Ben Stiller I wasn't expecting. Meatloaf as Jack Black's father and Dio rising up through the flames. Funny. Brings back memories of my high school years.

Anyhow, I have a feeling I won't get my S60 in time for Australia. Argh. That's what I get for waiting too late. Think I will get a backpack with a daypack and just keep the camera bag here. I was going to use a duffel with my camera bag but I don't want to carry much. Put it on my back and go. Now how to get 3 weeks worth of clothing in a backpack hehe. Actually I'm mailing some up to BAltimore for when I return stateside so I don't have to lug winter stuff around in Australia. Waiting until the weekend frenzy is over to go to Half Moon OUtfitters over here. Maybe I'll just overnight stuff from campmor.......

When do you leave? How exciting.

Thanks for the movie review-I thought about seeing it, but now I'll wait til it comes out on DVD.

I haven't switched to the new Beta. I'm not one for change.

Beta is convenient. Other than that, I hate everything else about it.

Wear nothing but cut off t-shirts and thongs. That should fit in a backpack. Also, do like the other 'mericans going overseas...have a Canadian flag on your backpack. They'll like you more :)

I always make sure to specify that I'm ALASKAN over american, get treated with a bit of awe.

If i was better with languages, I'd learn more from around the pacific rim, I already get mistaken for every nationality then what i am.
