The Final COuntdown

ok this is it. last day/last class. i have to finish my artist statement which is basically a load of crap as to why i photographed this series of work (because i want to just doesn't cut it apparently). i have to have a CONCEPT behind it. well as i have stated previously, i am conceptually-challenged, ya know how some people are vertically- or horizontally- or follically- or intellectually-challenged? well i am a smart person (the pseudo IQ test i took says so! so there! ok i think i was in the 95%ile, i think, damn i can't remember, i know i was up there, not enough for MENSA which i was trying for but that's ok). ANYHOW I DIGRESS. so anyway working or will work on this artist statement.

BUT my webpage is up and live!

I still want to change it up. Want to add my bodies of work, add captions, add a purchase page, shit like that.

Ok. It's me versus the league leader in fantasy football week 12. And according to the preview stats it's a tight ass game. One point separates us. Of course I know the ACTUAL fantasy points can be so different. So I have to place my actives just right. I had a rough start. Losing to the last place team really hurt. I beat him the first game but the next time around was a bad loss. I had some slow starters. Hasselbeck was my QB and I had the Housch as my WR but he wasn't even playin yet so I dropped him. Beck I kept giving him the benefit of the doubt but then I benched him on his highest scoring game. I am trying to put the players out there that I think will get the most plays/yardage etc. against the teams they are playing but it's not so simple.

Second game lost to the league leader (he still is, he's 10-1). He's got an awesome team. Brady as QB. He's got L Johnson, R Johnson and W Parker as RB and C Johnson as WR with R Wayne (damn that's a lot of Johnsons hehe). He's got CHicago as his Defense. So I'm up against a good team here.

I dumped Hasselbeck after his injury and picked up Vick but dumped him because I only like riding rollercoasters and didn't want to deal with his rollercoaster games. I picked up Bulger and Kitna. Bulger's been doing pretty well but coming down to the end I needed some oomf somewhere so I dropped Kitna and picked up Brees. He did well for me even with the loss to Cincy so I think I will keep him active against Brady. I think.

No doubt LT is staying active. Wonder how close it will be, if at all up against L Johnson. Gore's been doing well for me as RB but I've got E James on the bench. He hasn't had the numbers but he might work in the RB/WR slot. I can't decide whether to use him there or one of my other RB's or a WR. Decisions decisions! Ward is staying as my WR but his numbers are lower than I'd freakin like but I wouldn't drop him. D Jackson and R Brown I picked up a few games back. I still have T Glenn who I have had from the beginning, he's been consistent but just not high enough numbers for me. Especially against the league leader.

My TEs grrrrrr. I picked up D Clark from Chicago and he was pulling ok numbers until the last two games. I still have Cooley but I thought his injury might hold him back so I benched him in Week 11 but that was a mistake. I should have gone with him like my little voice said. He's been consistent throughout, just consistently mediocre numbers. Which is ok but I need all the numbers I can get in Week 12.

I have Graham as my kicker and he's been giving my high numbers. I sat him Week 11 and put Kasay up and that was a good choice. I will probably put him back in this week. He's been good to me.

My defense is the only thing that really sucks. Everyone else has the good teams. I am going up against Chicago (I doubt he's going to put Arizona up there). I had. Who did I have at first? oh Yea the Giants. Didn't do much for me. THen I picked up ATL. Again with the rollercoaster ride. Did great the second game I had them but I had to pick up a different team because they were on a BYE so I picked up the Colts. Maybe I should have stayed with them? All the good ones are just taken so I keep switching out my defense. I had ATL for a while but traded them in for Minnesota which was a disaster. Dropped them for San Diego. Eh fair. So I'm stuck on the defense.

Oh well. I have said way too much which now I probably have jinxed my team (hope not hope not hope not). But I really enjoy fantasy football. Lots of people (especially chics) just don't see why. Well I can't really say why but I enjoy football. And I like learning. And put the two together and it's just fun for me. I get to learn about the players' stats which I would be clueless trying to figure that out without the help of this league because there's just so much and so many players. My sister is clueless and she feels that way when she's around people who that's all they talk about is football (around here of course it seems to be college football which I couldn't give two shits about). So maybe I'll help her learn something.

Ok shit I NEED to get this statement down. and my printer is fucking up grrrrrrr.
