Four Snails and a Fish

well i am so excited to start my break. now i have to get ready for australia. i'm excited and nervous at the same time. i am twice the age of the students going, plus i will be there alone for a week. anyhoooooo,

i come home and see bookoo snails in my tank. i had one teeny tiny one when i got this tank over a month ago. then a few weeks later the teeny tiny one got bigger and i saw another one. now today i see two more and think there's more. so now i have one fish (the other died but i plan on getting more when i get back from 'down under') and four snails at least. i really didn't want a snail tank. but they are cute but i hear they can be pests. i'm thinking of getting a snail eater but i would need at least two since they like to be in schools. my tank is only 10 gallons. i hate to remove the snails but i may have to if the fish don't last. i want a couple of more raspboros and some tetra and with two loaches that might be enough. hopefully it won't be too much. i am thinking of returning the heater i bought since i can get one online for half of what i paid for in the store. have to see about shipping though.

so now i have more snails than fish. cute but i don't want pests so i may have to cull the herd hehe. and get more fish. but i want to wait because my sister will be taking care of 'Bobbert' (i didn't name the fish) and she's not the greatest in being reliable of late so i don't want to add fish only to come back to them dead.

ah well off to get warm and veg out!
