O yea.....more photos
Ok. I'm trying my little Powershot while I walk the beach etc. Beats taking that 10D. Although of course that one is way better.
This is the kitchen after I cleaned. It's a mess again so now I gotta reclean it. I hate doing the dishes I swear. These were the tomatos I had sitting up on the counter. They look so yummy......
This is the bathroom after I cleaned it. Yup you guess it, it's a mess. Well the sink is just cluttered again with stuff I found that needs to get put away in the bathroom.
This is my walk the other day at sunset. I park at the north beach, walk around the lighthouse all the way to the most northern point of the beach until I can go no more. THen I enjoy the view for a few, then head back. Takes me an hour and I don't know how long a walk it is. But along the way after they passed me I decided to look back and take some photos. I don't like the hot spot but oh well, I liked the sun in the shot. IT's grainy because at 4o0 ISO this camera has shitty noise....plus it is on the smallest jpeg setting.
This is actually my favorite shot. I am thinking of doing a series on how nasty people are in that they discard and throw away shit without thinking about the impact on Nature, Earth, etc. and how the Earth has to somehow find a way to cleanse itself, cause god knows we won't. (Now I'm not a Greenpeacer, PETA fanatic, or tree hugger etc. I just think the older I get the more I realize how selfish we as humans are and how horribly we treat the world we live, and with the intelligence we [should] have that we can make this world a better place for our children when in fact we are destroying it at an alarming rate. Anyway, I will get off the soapbox......) This is some sort of rope that has been there for some time because it's covered over quite a bit. I also saw a nasty-ass Coors beer can at the water's edge but anyway this photo is nice even though it's got left over trash in it. I know I can change more, but since I dont' smoke I'm not a butt-pig anymore (threw my butts out the window on the ground etc.) and if I do smoke I squish the tip of the cigarette with my fingers and throw it in the trash. Call me crazy but it just looks nasty to me anymore. I also don't litter. Well I may throw my apple core out the window but that is biodegradable, plus maybe some little bird could eat the seeds and I help them not to starve. I don't waste water if I don't have to. It's not easy changing but I am trying.
These guys always are washed up on the shore. But they aren't there more than a day. I always wonder how they end up there, dead. I mean is it there time? Do they get stuck in the tide and can't leave?
I still am not happy with this shot. On days that are very windy and I'm jogging, the beach looks like a desert in a windstorm and I wanted to capture that on film. Looks much better in person. I have not been able to capture it the way I think it looks......will keep trying. Will have to remember to take my damn ear wrap and gloves, brrrrrrr!

We get those horseshoe crabs on the Jersey shore, too. You'd think after billions of years of evolution (whatever) that they would have it figured out by now.
I'm with you on the littering thing, too. Cig butts out the window and other such nonsense pisses me off to no end. One of these days, I'll pick one up and throw it back in their window. You'll read about me in the obituary column!
I hate it when I see people throw their cigs right on the ground as they pass the ash tray. I always laugh and think, they might've missed the ash tray, but they won't miss the lung cancer and voice box.
Your kitchen reminds me of the kitchen in this little hotel we stayed in while in Virginia Beach a couple of years ago. Very cute, but beachy and not to worry if it's gets a mess sort of vibe to it.
RED USES COLGATE..RED USES COLGATE
Ya know, if you used more paper plates you wouldn't have that mess in the sink!
