I meditate. I burn candles. I drink green tea...............and still I want to smack someone.

Cover up the ham!

when ya heat it in the microwave. It pops! And when it does the stuff on the inside of the microwave really looks like someone's brains got splat all over. Just thought I'd share. I do cover my ham (heated some up today) but a little bit seems to always end up getting on the inside. Yucky.

Speaking of food, I have no idea what I want to eat. I made ham because I didn't know what else to eat. I have a bunch of items, but no desire for any of it. Sigh.

My body aches. I need to get my ass back up to school and shoot some still lifes but I just don't want to. I also need to make up a project since I only had 24 hours to do the last one which was in no way enough time. Guess that's what happens when I miss ONE damn class.

I sold quite a few books this week. I really should have put a reserve on a couple of them because they went for a lot lower than I really wanted to sell them. They are expensive textbooks and let me tell you they got a steal with mine. I guess I should have waited until school was going to start again. Oh well. I need the few bucks I made anyway.

Tomorrow is my day off but I have to spend it driving around downtown for my art history class. I elected to present a project rather than do a 10 page research paper. I'm looking for Italian Renaissance -ish architecture to photograph down here. I've seen a few places, I just hope they relate to the class.

I'm tired. This was a long weekend for some reason. But I think I may some pretty decent money. I just know I don't like working for commission. *Yawn*

Let's see:

First, leave the bits of ham in the microwave, then cook some eggs. It makes a nice melange of flavor.

I went to a seminar hosted by Nevada Weir and Lisl Dennis in NYC a while ago. Lisl talked about what she called "Creative Inertia". She told us that if we aim to go out and shoot, just take that first shot - no matter what it is - it will get us over the creative humpa and start the creative process. I have to say she's on to something there.

Oh ... the NASCAR thing. If you could promise baseball like we have here in the Northeast, I'm all in!

You know what else splatters in the microwave? Dog food. I forgot to cover it when I was heating it up for the hounds and it was a mess when I opened the door. Took me a good half hour scrubbing it.

Good luck finding the buildings to shoot. Did you go into Hotlanta? There were a lot of cool buildings there if I remember correctly.

Nobody uses the microwave at my job. They think something is alive inside it. We are all afraid to put our hand inside it.
