Idiocy abounds
Well, not these little guys. This is my baby (in the front) with little Zeek following behind. This was the normal situation unless Baxter (my baby) decided to turn around and chase Zeek. But it's good they were getting to know each other. My baby loves the water and most of the time I wasn't feeling well so I couldn't run around with him. Usually I do. He's such a baby. He doesn't like to play by himself. He loves interacting with people. Which is the opposite of me. I guess I spoiled him.
Well, with the nice weather come the idiots. I can't get off the island because there is a major accident that closed off 80, which is the only way in and out of the island until you get to the next one (I live on Tybee, the next island is Wilmington). Not that I really need to go anywhere except the grocery store. But there have been ambulance horns blaring since yesterday. Guess it makes life entertaining.....
Here is Zeek the Geek resting. He really is cute and doesn't go far which is good, hopefully he won't get into stuff that will poison him.
Here they are exploring the dam. At first I thought the dork was going to jump off because every time Baxter went below, Zeek wanted to get down the shortest way possible. He did find his way around so he's not totally dumb. We have yet to determine his dumbness. But he is so cute! Here they are running through the water. Baxter likes it more so after a while Zeek would chase him along the bank while Baxter ran through the water.
Well, I kind of made G-man drag out the ole Corvair. I know. It's not a Mustang or anything that fancy, but it's still neat. I am not sure about the chances of it getting overhauled on Overhaulin', but doesn't hurt to try. He doesn't have much that's new, and if he does it's like scratch and dent new. So maybe they will fix it up for him. PRobably unlikely, but always a possibility. He doesn't want for much, and maybe they'll feel something for the guy since he doesn't have anything new. He has a ton of "projects" that he has "in progress" and only a few he actually has finished. This was one when we first started going out like 5 years ago or so but then he never messed with it. So I kinda "prodded" him to get it out since it needs to be in "running condition" before the Overhaulin' people will even consider it. Unfortunately the carburators needs to be gone through, so hopefully he'll work on that. It runs. but it's not driveable. All the website says is "MUST be in running condition." Didn't say anything about driving condition!
This was photographed before he washed it down. Does look pretty when wet (then again so do I haha). I will send this one, so it appears a little more pathetic.
I have seen mainly old Mustangs and even as recent as a 96 Tahoe being overhauled. I never heard of a Ford Galaxie and they did one of those, so maybe they won't laugh at the Corvair. I don't know why they would but according to G-man it was a "poor man's sports car." I don't know much about sports cars (other than I've always wanted a '69 Camaro SS) so I'm not sure if this guy falls at the bottom of the sports totem pole. Hell surely if they can overhaul a short yellow bus they can overhaul this Corvair? Wish me luck.

Warm weather is a Bozo Breeding Ground. They hibernate until the temperature breaks 70, then they're out like groundhogs.
When they see their shadow, it's 6 months of nonsense.
