I meditate. I burn candles. I drink green tea...............and still I want to smack someone.

Smells like somethin's burnin.......

And that would be the wildfires in the southeastern part of Georgia. For the past couple of days the smoke has reached us up here from Waycross and surrounding parts, which is about 150 miles away......could smell the burning leaves and trees too. Kinda creepy. Winds been blowing it up this way now. I was in Melbourne, Australia when they had their bushfires in December. Put the whole city under a haze. Needless to say it was horrible to photograph in, I still took photos but nothing I can use in a portfolio which kind of sucks. I may drive down there to take some photos, Waycross is only about 2 hours away......but I've got a shitload of stuff to do.

My niece and her mother (yea my sister) had to use my shower since her mother doesn't check the mail and has neglected to pay the water bill. Doesn't it take several months for them to finally turn that shit off? I don't know, since I am rarely late on those bills. *biting tongue now*

But anyway, my niece will be serving up that altar stuff at church on Sunday. Kinda cool. I did all that stuff when I was growing up Catholic......so long ago.......so long forgotten. But I'm glad to see she's involved in SOMEthing like that.

I again was trying to burn a CD for her. She is SO into Avril Lavigne. I must admit her "Girlfriend" song is quite full of energy. Anyway, my damn CD burner won't burn again. I only went through 3 this time but still. It's so annoying, because I KNOW it works. I burned photos on a CD the other day. I know burning to a DVD works. GRRRRRRRRRRRR!

It took me a minute to figure out that "th-mon" meant Thursday to Monday.
I thought it was some cool girl-slang thing.

Anyway, the news heads said those fires were started by a tree crashing into a high-power line. Geez, you'd think they would have a handle on that sort of thing.
