Fox Mulder
has a blog. yup that's right, or so it's what it seems to be. i came across some article that was talking about celebrity blogs. rosie o'donnell's was on there (she had apparently made a comment on someone's blog and i forgot now whose). britney spears apparently has one. my i barely have time for mine. do you think they actually type on it, or do you think one of the zillion *people* they have type up their blog? hmm dunno i just thought i was interesting.
i have been coming across some great photo blogs when i can. i know i'm going through a slump, so these help me get in a better frame of mind. i don't know what my deal is, well i do, but it's too personal for now. i know when i continue at SCAD i will be in a more conducive environment for my photographic mind. i did send of the photos to the Animal Planet/Life photo contest. i had to go to wolf camera (bleck) to scan them in and print them since the old man can't seem to find the disc for the scanner here. there were two women looking at a zillion of their photos while i was getting mine and the lady behind the counter wanted to check them out before i paid for them which was nice. it's nice when people *ooooh and aaaah* over stuff. i actually like to keep a low profile but it's still nice getting the compliments. so one of the two women on my side of the counter says *are you a profession?, is that what you do?* now that made me feel good hehe. i'm not a professional i said but that is what i am finishing school for. so it was a nice experience. i don't like wolf camera but i was in a pinch. i prefer this independent photo store for my slide and color prints etc. but they are not close. of course all they shop did was print what i scanned and touched up but hey. i don'[t like the chain stores. i have had bad experiences before.
so my slides are almost finished. masking them and ready to send them off. i wish i had photographed what i have behind frames but this will do for now. if i do not get one of the scholarships this year i will break down and take apart my frames for my other work. the competition is tough though. although i've seen some of the winners' work and well i think i am in the running if i say so myself! ha!!
i helped my friend's daughter move her stuff into her college apartment. it was fun. it was a neat experience to talk to her, as here i am 35 and going *back* to finish school full time and she's going for her second semester at 20? or is she 19? can't remember. we were giving each other pointers from our own personal experiences haha!
i still need to pack up a lot more stuff. gees one thing at a time i guess. i will not accumulate so much crap this time LOL
