"If you don't know where you are going....
any road will get you there." Lewis Carroll

I sort of know where I'm going, at least at the moment. Hopefully on the path of least resistance for my degree. AFTER this accomplishment I do not know where I'm going. But we shall see. I have at least three people that want me. It feels good! My best friend wants me to come back (I moved from Maryland to Georgia), another friend wants me to go live where she is (Tennessee) and of course the ex has asked me to think about going back there (Atlanta). Decisions, decisions. There's a whole world out there too......
I found it interesting that the author of Alice in Wonderland was also a photographer. Real name: Reverend Charles Dodgson, he actually took up photography in its early stages. Of course....a lot of his photographs tended to be of young girls.....which of course in this day and age would carry along with it some assumptions. NOW that doesn't mean he was more interested in little girls in THAT manner.....I really couldn't say, and to speculate would be just wrong. Because no one really knows. But it just brings up the thought ya know? But either way, they are quite good. He did take photographs of others as well. He was also a mathematician so I'm sure that had a great influence on HOW he took the photos.
*yawn* About time to hit the sack. My feet are killing me. Why I decide to where shoes, heels no less, that I haven't worn in AGES, on the night I have to go see an art lecture. It's not just the standing around, but there isn't parking around Savannah. Well there is, but you have to feed the meters. And frankly, I don't have loads of quarters to feed the meters on a daily basis since I have to go downtown almost every day. So I park at the SCAD parking lots. but those are so few and far between, as well as no guarantee that there will be a spot, some of them are so damn small. The walking I don't mind. But walking in heels? And in 90 degree weather?? That's a problem. So now I have blisters on the TOPS of four toes, two on each foot. Feels nice let me tell YOU. But I decided I should wear more of the shoes I own, lately I've only been wearing my Tevas (OMG they are so comfortable) or my new Merrell trail runners. I'm all about comfort man. So heels aren't high on my list anymore, but I have them, and I should get used to them if I decide to go out more often to these artsy things. Man now I know why heels are bad for you. Granted I used to wear them ALL the time when I was in high school and beyond, but I didn't realize how bad they are for your feet. But now that I haven't worn them in years and am going back, I can see the issues. And I have to work this weekend. And get to all this research. Boy art history is FULL of information.
