Can't Do Tofu
I figured I would give it a shot again. I have done that on a few things I don't like, but figured maybe something was wrong like how it was made or cooked.
But nope.
Tofu I simply cannot do.
It's not the flavor, because it has none.
It's the TEXTURE.
ICK.
I made a tofu stir fry and well just couldnt' eat it all. For one thing I overdid the ginger. It called for one teaspoon of fresh ginger and that's what I used and it was overpowering. I like ginger, but that was too much. And the tofu was just too squishy. I even got extra firm. I'll stick to soy nuts or soy milk if I want to get soy in my diet.
So at least I tried it. And, I still don't like it. I did the same for Peanut Butter (barf), cottage cheese (double barf) and well can't eat those either. Cooked spinach is a HUGE NO-NO. I love it raw, but not cooked no way no how no sirreebob.
Well on the fish note, one died. It made it til the next day but I knew it was a goner. Not sure why the pH went up in the tank (I haven't even had it for a week so no water change yet) so I'm thinking the fish was in shock and the pH didn't help it. It's been down now, I had to use almost a whole bottle of this regulator shit. I am wondering if this is more trouble than it's worth at this time. My place gets nice a cold in the winter and I may have to get a tank heater. I may just stick with something that lives on the land and eats crickets.......or maybe even roaches. Wonder if scorpions or tarantulas will eat these palmetto bugs here........now that's an idea.

Other than people with a peanut allergy, I've never heard of anyone who doesn't like peanut butter.
